! Why would I want to comment out section dividers?
Have you thought about adding a different way to define sections to be inserted by the InsertPage feature? Insert Page works great, but it forces you to leave ugly section markers in your low level pages.

In my wiki, I am using certain pages to hold information about news stories: news story title, short summary, full text. These sections can then be referenced by other pages. For example, the home page includes summaries of and links to three news stories.
The simplest way to hold this information seemed to be to hold the information in separate sections, with one wiki page per story. This would work fine, if that page was subdivided by horizontal rules, but my internal client doesn't want this. I thought an easy solution would be to comment out the sections, but that results in the problem described below.
You can get rid of the section markers by adding the following css to your template jspwiki.css file:
At line 19 removed 9 lines
! Problem with inserting commented out sections
If the section marker (----) is commented out using the {{{%%(display:none)%%}}} technique, then the closing </div> is lost when the preceding section is included. This currently seems only to be a problem if the InsertPage contains style information. It would be nice if, either a section included till the end of the line, or there were another way to comment out section markers without this side-effect.
(See [JSPIncludeDisplayNoneSection] for details)
! One possible solution
In the template css file (eg jspwiki.css), add the following line:
At line 31 removed one line
This disables all horizontal rules. It will probably do what I want, but obviously isn't ideal, as it prevents the use of horizontal rules in all situations.
At line 22 added 2 lines
This disables all horizontal rules. It's what I ended up doing, but it's not ideal, as it prevents the use of horizontal rules in all situations.
