After a default install, here's what you get:

JSPWiki has detected an error

{{{
Error Message
    An unknown exception java.lang.NullPointerException was caught by Error.jsp.
Exception
    java.lang.NullPointerException
Place where detected
    com.ecyrd.jspwiki.WikiContext.getName(), line 495
}}}

Well, it works for me. Could you attach the property file that you got here? Also, did you install any default pages? And which URL did you exactly call after the install? And did you restart the container after the install?

I had the same error with both a Glassfish and a Tomcat install (this was my first installation of JSPWiki). I solved the problem by copying the JSPWiki-corepages into my page storage directory and reloaded... error gone.

Downgraded, since there is a good workaround. But it should not crash in such a situation, yes.
