Upon upgrading from JSPWiki v2.0.52 to v2.2.27 I get this in the catalina.out file anytime I try to access the main page...

2005-06-27 08:09:51 StandardWrapper[:default]: Loading container servlet default
2005-06-27 08:09:51 StandardWrapper[:invoker]: Loading container servlet invoker

2005-06-27 08:10:16 No jspwiki.propertyfile defined for this context, using default from /WEB-INF/jspwiki.properties
2005-06-27 08:10:20 JSPWiki: Unable to load and setup properties from jspwiki.properties. Failed to start managers: no provider class
2005-06-27 08:10:21 Application 6586390 requests WikiEngine.
2005-06-27 08:10:21 ApplicationDispatcher[/TCWiki] Servlet.service() for servlet jsp threw exception
org.apache.jasper.JasperException: tried to access method com.ecyrd.jspwiki.WikiContext.<init>(Lcom/ecyrd/jspwiki/WikiEngine;Ljava/lang/String;)V from class org.apache.jsp.Error_jsp
at org.apache.jasper.servlet.JspServletWrapper.service(JspServletWrapper.java:248)

Any clues as to how to fix this? Is it a bug or is it my setup? Nothing in the logs is very helpful in figuring out what is actually at fault here.

This error occurs if your jspwiki.properties does not contain the proper page provider set. Please see also the JSPWiki error log (see jspwiki.properties). Typical problems are: empty provider class set up, or an extra space after the page provider name.

Closing, we should now be giving more useful info in 2.4.
