The left side bar menu is not displaying in MSIE!

-- ChuckSmith

Confirmed. It seems that there's something wrong with bug submit form, too...

;:Janne, I think something is wrong with the proper closing of all DIVs -- which probably leads to the instability in showing the LeftMenu in IE. Could be related with the introduction of the <div class='block'> inside the PageActions.jsp.
(just my guess) --[DF|DirkFrederickx]
;: You also may remove, in the jspwiki.css the reference to the scripts/csshover.htc file: it does not exist, and pollutes the breadcrumbs all over the screen --[DF|DirkFrederickx]

I removed some of the crud, but since the page actually validates as valid XHTML, I don't think that's a problem with the divs. It's probably a thing with the CSS...

I hope it works in 2.3.52... Please test with as many browsers you can find (but forget NS4 and Mac IE 5...)

I mentioned this on IRC last night, but didn't have time to wait for any replies. I am not sure why, but I think it is a CSS problem too. I traced it to the div class=favorites. If I removed position: absolute from the css for \#favorites, it worked in IE. I tested the 2.3.52 in IE, and it seems to be working now, so thanks for the fix.

I noticed a jspwiki_ie.css. Is that ever used? I couldn't get it work though. Thanks again.

Saw your message on IRC, but that was something like 3 am my time, so you were gone by the time I got there. Good to know that it works now!

jspwiki_ie.css is for when you want to put IE-specifics in it.

Thanks Janne. I don't see where jspwiki_ie.css is ever included. I'll play around some more though. Appreciate the help.

It's included by a Javascript function at the end of commonheader.jsp
