I am having a problem with the redirect that results from an Authenicated User that tries to access a page with Page Permissions that will not allow them to view that page. The end result is a page not found in firefox and an endless loop in IE, but that difference is browser based. They are both basically endless loops.

I am using container based authentication.

It appears there is a problem with the way the redirect is handled. The requested page calls hasAccess and realizes that it does not have access and then attempts to redirect to Login.jsp. Since the user is already authenicated, Login.jsp sends it back to the page we were originally trying to access. This is where the endless loop comes in because we do not have access to that page, and it sends it back to Login.jsp....and so on.

This is what the page should say -- ("You don't have access to '" + getName() + "'. Do you want to log in as another user?."); --

I believe there is a problem with the login as a different user functionality.

Please let me know if you have a fix for this.

This bug is fixed in 2.4.77.

Do you know when this branch will be a stable release candidate?

Hopefully before Saturday... It all depends on whether I have time to do the release.
