The ReferringPagesPlugin fails to recognize deleted pages, however, this may be due to the fact that pages have been deleted using two web-apps pointing at the same pages directory, also some pages have been deleted from the file system... is the ReferenceManager somehow cached between server-restarts?

However, if you check PageIndex on the same site you will see that the pages are not present.

Known issue. ReferenceManager does not realize that pages that have been deleted have really been deleted, if the deletion is done by external means.

Workaround is to stop container, remove $workdir/refmgr.ser, and restart container.
