If you have your users in an LDAP server the role name Authenticated is not very well chosen. Better would be something like JSPWikiUsers, so you see this is a role need by JSPWiki. Probably you'll have lots more roles in an LDAP server...


The [documentation on this website|Security2.3] as well as the inline comments in web.xml make it very clear how you can change the JSPWiki container roles in web.xml to suit your own preferences. JSPWiki doesn't care what the role names are, as long as they match those returned by your container. As it happens, the role name 'Authenticated' was chosen so that it would match the name of the equivalent Role in jspwiki.policy. -- Andrew Jaquith
