Hi,

I'm a Wiki user, using JSPWiki 2.2.33. I can't seem to find any way of re-naming the file attachment page to reflect the name of the updated filename; for example if version1.doc is first uploaded, then updated with version2.doc, the page name remains version1.doc. I've just tested the sandbox and you've added the delete page function to the latest version. This provides a work-around - thankyou.

Would you consider enhancing JSPWiki in future to allow automatic attachment page re-naming?

Cheers,

Katherine Garrett

Yes, we're considering this. However, renaming an attachment will break any links to it. And this may be a bit complicated. I would welcome discussion on what would be the intuitive way to do this... Except perhaps by creating a "Logical name" separate from the actual "File name".
