Janne, I'm curious why you are moving from the GPL to the LGPL. Any particular reason?

Yes. A bunch of people have told me that they would like to use JSPWiki as a part of
something they distribute, and LGPL gives them a better option to do that (no more linking problems).
See my weblog for a
bit more information (though not much).
There may be a new license shift about. See my weblog for more information.
Why do not use Mozilla Public License? See http://www.mozilla.org/MPL/.
If I were to use any other license other than GPL, I would use the Apache license... But I think GPL offers a nice choice - while I don't agree with Mr. Stallman on many points, GPL in itself is a commendable piece of work, and I wish to support the Free software movement. I have enough of an old-time hacker in me to understand its beauty :-).
