I'm a german software developer and use JspWiki for my private homepage at [http://www.earthdawn-wiki.de].

I developed a few plugins and filters for JspWiki:

* [MathPlugin|http://www.earthdawn-wiki.de/Wiki.jsp?page=MathPlugin_en]
* [AppletPlugin|http://www.earthdawn-wiki.de/Wiki.jsp?page=AppletPlugin]
* [Text2GifPlugin|http://www.earthdawn-wiki.de/Wiki.jsp?page=Text2GifPlugin]
* [ImageMapPlugin|http://www.earthdawn-wiki.de/Wiki.jsp?page=ImageMapPlugin]
* [Initial Letter Filter|http://www.earthdawn-wiki.de/Wiki.jsp?page=InitialFilter]

And one template:

* [OldBookTemplate]

JspWiki is a very nice thing - and it screams for some enhancements, that's the best part of it ;-)

If my girl friend allows it, I may continue developing additional parts.

NOTICE FOR BLEEDING EDGE USERS: these plugins will not work as is with a JSPWiki 2.3.x installation. The technical reason is that since 2.3.x requires JAR signing, and since Sebastian has used the ''com.ecyrd.jspwiki.plugins'' classpath, the binary classes are not authorized to run with the signed code.

If you need external plugins with your 2.3.x installation, you will need to add their sources to your JSPWiki source tree and compile everything in one signed swoop. Sebastian provides the plugin sources in his JARs.

I think the girlfriend took over Sebastian's free time... :-)

I modified the package name to {{com/sbaltes/jspwiki/plugin}}, added the source for the Acme library dependency (it looked abandoned) and fixed JSPWiki (2.4.11) and JDK (1.4.2) compatibility issues. I only tested the Applet plugin, and it was working fine. See attached files.

But it seems that the classes for the Math plugin are missing in the archives. Is it possible to add them also? -- sschmidt, 03-Dec-2006

Hi sschimidt,\\
I looked at the source and I have indeed removed some classes from the original package:
3754 06-21 13:17 Math.java.old
4268 2005-01-19  SbPageViewCountPlugin.java.old
4067 2004-11-19  Text2gif.java.old
5268 2004-08-11  MathHotEnqGifWriter.java.old
I don't remember exactly why - I think it was due to dependencies I was not able to resolve at the time. If I get around to play with it again I will post an update.
