Do you loan your stuff to others and they never remember to bring them back?
Do you keep your loans in Excel sheets or little paper notes that you keep losing?

Would it be nice if someone reminded you when you're supposed to get your stuff back?

Terms

Loander is offered AS IS with no warranties of any kind. Your data is stored in Google's Firebase servers, which means that they may be located anywhere on this planet.

All communication with remote servers is done through a secure protocol.

Once you sign up using Google or Facebook login, we store your contact information that you give access to. However, we will not use this for anything except for sending you an important email, if there's something that pertains to the application.

We do basic tracking of the features you use on the app to improve our services. Just like everyone else.

Your loans and the images are stored in remote servers. Your contacts are stored only insofar we store a unique ID from your phone book, the name of the person, a hashed phone number and the email of the person. This is so that we can match up the loans between persons so we don't accidentally mix them. We do not store your entire contact list, and we also remove any information about a contact when you mark a loan as returned. All data is treated as confidential.

Our log and data retention policy is 30 days - any changes older than that will never make it back from the bit heaven.

When you delete your application from your phone, the data is not automatically deleted from the servers, unfortunately, because we don't know whether you did it by accident or on purpose, and keeping your data safe matters more here. However, if you wish to have your data permanently deleted, please email us.
