The 15 Artists Meme

Following the example from Outi and Jani, here's my picture (click on it to get a bigger one).

What I did is that I took iTunes, and told it to get 15 random songs. I then hunted down an image of each artist, and mashed them together.

Your job, should you choose to accept it, is to recognize the artists.

Some of these are really easy, and some of them are very hard.

#7 is MAX. #4 looks annoyingly familiar but I just can't dig up a name for them. :P For #15 two of the guys look like they are from l'arc~en~ciel, but otherwise I have no clue who they might be.

12 is NOT A-ha (but the time period is right).

1 is Shakira.

7 is MAX (well spotted!)

9 is NOT anyone from Earth, Wind & Fire.

15 is not l'arc~en~ciel, either.

Nope, #12 is not Duran Duran either.

#9 is correct, though the man's name is Bobby ~McFerrin, not Bobby Brown. Recognizing the song is acceptable, though ;)

Here are the three-point hints:

  • 4 - misspelled colour
  • 8 - synth guru
  • 13 - Finnish classic
  • 15 - "divine hand"

Okay, and for one point hints:

  • 8: most known for a piece first released 1969, which became an international instrumental dance hit in 1972. Sold over 1 Megacopies in Germany alone. This song is still occasionally heard, with a numerous amount of covers.
  • 13: first album in February 1987; latest release in 2000. Sounds of November.
  • 15: any go player should recognize this band with a bit of creative googling.
