Double backups! It's the only way to go. I move data from home to work nightly (almost) just so that if one computer gets trashed, the other will have a complete backup.

Then, I burn everything to CD when I get a chance.

I've been advising my friends for the last couple of years to organize everything they care about into "CD Sized Folders."

PS - and dispite the above - I still lose things sometimes - those "it crashed the same day I did all the work" crashes are the worst!
