Ah, but beads are just a stepping stone to the harder stuff and a life of addiction.

Working with beads leads to wanting to make beads. That means buying glass, a blow torch and a kiln. Once you have a kiln it isn't that far of a step to start doing pottery. Then, she'll figure out that the kiln for beads is too small for what she wants to do with pottery so you buy a bigger kiln (with both sitting happily next to each other in the garage). Then, since the new kiln is big enough for larger pottery items, she'll want a proper pottery wheel. Pottery will lead also lead her back to glass (for cool designs). After going back and forth here for a while she'll get bored and want to move on to something else (like sewing) leaving you to find a place for the kilns, blow torch, bead paraphernalia, tools, potters wheel, etc.

Oh wait, that's my life! :)
