What the hell are you talking about? Despite the corporate-friendly copyright law, this is hardly a totalitarian state where parody sites get shut down. Or even a lawyer-state, where people can sue other people for photoshopping their image.

It's the minimization of harm -principle: if I'm right, and someone gets annoyed and it gets shut down, I at least get the satisfaction of having been right; and if I am wrong, then I will glad that I was wrong.
