It never fails to amaze me how when government (and/or big corporations) make decisions and set policy they so very often go exclusively against the common good. These organizations seem to be filled with caring, intelligent, and educated individuals, but put them together and make their primary goal to serve the organization and they can turn into very harmful groups.

I read a very good article in the magazine "Atlantic Monthly" last year talking about group behaviour. It basically said that when you study groups that act insanely stupid, you find that, at an individual level, each person is acting in a rational manner. (In this case, since lawyers are involved, the stupidity may be much closer to the individual)

I hope this measure is defeated. Good luck, please continue to keep everyone informed, we appreciate it.
